LYCEUM 2K18 was a full packed infotainment organised by the 5th sem students of department of English aimed for both enlightenment and knowledge. The academic event was a great success with the full-fledged participation of students and teachers. The head of the department Mrs. Jayalakshmi presided over the function. The third semester UG students and the first semester PG students along with all other department faculty comprised the audience. The event consisted of three main programmes: A presentation on “100 years of Indian cinema” , A comical though enlightening skit “The First Dictionary Salesman” and a healthy debate on “kanchanasita” which is included in the third semester UG syllabus.Dr.chitra V S , tutor S5 gave away the vote of thanks.The programme thus ended up with positive thoughts for the future.
