National Award for an Alumni
Sri LR Madhujan an Alumni who completed UG in Psychology from Mahatma Gandhi College, later made his own mark in the field of Psychology by starting an NGO Karunasai de-addiction and Mental Health centre. His contribution and service in the field of Alcohol deaddiction and counselling got National acclaim as he was awarded for his activities against Alcohol and Drug abuse. This is the biggest award in India in this area and Honourable President of India Sri Ram Nath Kovind handed over the award to Sri LR Madujan in New Delhi.
Madhujan conducts many awareness program including current students of MG College to make local people aware of the issues of addiction.
