Vigilance awareness week was observed by Debate Club

Vigilance awareness week was observed at Mahatma Gandhi College under the banner
of DEBATE CLUB.An inter departmental elocution competition was conducted as a part
of the programme..25 students representing various departments had  actively
participated in the competition. JITHIN RAJ from the department of physics won the
first prize. DEVANARAYANAN, student of the same department and SIJI from the department of
sociology got 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively.The program was inaugurated by Dr.MR Sudarsana
kumar,Principal of our college.The cash prize and memento was sponsored by the STATE BANK
OF TRAVANCORE, Pattom Branch.An amount of Rs.3000 , 2000, 1000 was distributed as the cash prize to the winners respectively with memento. MG Ambili and MinI G Panikkar ,Branch managers of SBT Pattom distributed the prizes. Debate club Convener NK Sunilkumar, Club co-coordinator Dr.Lekshmipriya, J.Sudheeshkumar, R.shambhu also spoke in the occassion.
