National Science Day celebration 2015 at Mahatma Gandhi College.
Focal theme: Science for Nation Building.
Kerala Academy of Science in association with Mahatma Gandhi College organised a seminar in connection with National Science day 2015. The seminar was inaugurated by Professor Oomen V Oomen, Chairman, Kerala state Biodiversity Board (President, KAS).
National Science day lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr George Thomas, Deen, IISER, Thiruvananthapuram . He spoke on the life and contributions of Sir C V Raman. Principal Dr Mridula B Nair, Dr K G Ajitkumar, General Secretary , KAS and Sri N Raveendran Pillai, Former scientist, ISRO were spoke on the occasion. A scientific interaction with students were successfully conducted. The seminar was attended by Scientists of various institutions, Post graduate and graduate students, Research scholars.
