The First, Second, and Third year students of Sociology Department actively participated in one day Old Age Home visit (Karunya Vishranthi Bhavan Sreekaryam) on Oct 2nd 2015. In association with HOPE charity Trust we donated food to 110 inmates of Karunya Vishranthi Bhavan. The Gandhi Jayanthi Day was made a memorable one with the inmates of Karunya. Oldage is the second childhood, with them we both enjoyed the taste of childhood . Karunya Bhavan mixed those who lost childhood and those who missed it. Students cleaned old age home and premises with same heart and enthusiasm. Love become divine when shared with those who really deserves it. Each and every student understood its meaning. In the second session after lunch the cultural programmes of inmates of Karunya and students of Mahathma Gandhi College made the day an unforgettable one. One day with them taught that “ A Talented person is called gifted when he or she is able to make others happy.”
