Seminar on Safe Surfing and Social Media Conduct
The Naval Wing of Mahatma Gandhi College conducted a seminar on 25 July 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on the topic “Click with Care: Safe Surfing and Social Media Etiquette.”
The session was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Ananda Kumar V.M., who emphasized that while the internet offers numerous benefits, it also has its drawbacks. He urged students to be cautious online and “click safe.”
The resource person, Mr. N. K. Sunil Kumar, Assistant Professor of Sociology, highlighted the importance of online safety, the credibility of information, and responsible social media behavior.
The seminar was informative, engaging, and promoted a more respectful and secure virtual environment among the youth. Around 80 participants attended the session.
