Anti-drug awareness evening celebrated at Sankhumukham beach
Mahatma Gandhi College National Service Scheme, in collaboration with the State Excise Department, organised an anti-drug awareness evening celebration titled "Jagratha Dhwani" at Shankhumugham Beach on 12 April 2025, 05:00 pm. The event was inaugurated by Assistant Excise Commissioner Mr Shibu B L. Valiyathura Police CI Ashok Kumar, College Principal Dr V M Anandakumar, Programme Officers Dr Rahul S and Dr Deepa V, along with faculty members, participated in the function. The NSS volunteers presented a flash mob, theme dance, and songs conveying anti-drug messages. In addition, an anti-drug selfie point was also set up at Shankhumugham Beach.
