Social initiative programs
Mahatma Gandhi College has undertaken two social initiative programs for feeding the needy.
‘Oru pidichoru’ is done bi-monthly. Students bring food parcels from home and it is distributed to Valiyathura camp for victims for the tempest. Gifts are distributed to students who bring the food parcel
‘Snehapoorvam’ an iniiative by the commerce students, feeds santhwanam charitable trust for cancer care inmates regularly once a month
