Perspective & Strategic Plans

Perspective /strategic plan and Deployment

Response:

The institutional policies are well defined and decentralized. All the important academic and administrative decisions are taken by several committees proposed and finalized by the college council. The strategies and plans are chalked out after thorough discussions. The internal examination is being conducted for the last eight years as a part of the restructured Choice Based Credit and Semester system. Attendance, submission of assignments and test papers are the three parameters for the continuous and comprehensive evaluation process. A centralized plan for the effective execution of internal evaluation is selected as an example of an instance of the systematic strategic implementation of our institution with regard to student achievement and remedial teaching. The college conducts two set of internal exams in a semester in the centralized manner. The whole process is done under the supervision of a team of teachers, coordinated by a senior faculty. At the outset of each semester the college council meeting is convened to design the internal examination schedule. Internal exams are carried out in a centralized manner to ensure maximum transparency and these exams helps the students to prepare well for the end semester examination. Each department ensures that answer scripts are evaluated and the score sheets are published within a stipulated time period. Once the answer scripts and score sheets are circulated, a department level meeting is convened to analyze the results and it is ensured that the regular PTS meetings are held to collect the feedback from students and their guardians.
