Book on Indian Agriculture Released at MG College
The Post Graduate Department of Economics at Mahatma Gandhi College, Thiruvananthapuram, organised a book release event on June 20, 2025, for Future Prospects of Indian Agriculture, edited by Lt. Dr. Binu Kumar B J and his research scholars. The event was attended by faculty, students, and invited guests, and included a keynote address by Sri. Anu S Nair, IAS, who spoke on challenges in Indian agriculture and the role of technology. The book was formally released and handed over to the University of Kerala library. Principal Dr. Anandakumar V M and other dignitaries offered their remarks on the relevance of the publication. The book includes topics such as sustainable farming, agro-tourism, and digital tools in agriculture.
